JMC Photo Gallery

A lot of people like taking pictures. This is due to the fact that digital cameras have become complex while their price got lower and lower. Thus, it's possible to get a very decent camera at a low price. But no matter how good a photo is, it can lose its glow if not viewed properly. Windows cannot help you here, as it features a simple image viewer and also a simple slideshow feature which doesn't have too many options. That's why the only thing to do is to turn to 3rd party programs for viewing images. JMC Photo Gallery is one such program.

This intuitive Windows program allows one to create complex image slideshows using various transition effects. It doesn't have to be installed, as it can run directly using the downloaded executable file. Thus, even a simple and dull photo will become a piece of art if viewed using this program. When running the program, the user must first configure the photo folder where JMC Photo Gallery will look for images. By default, the My Pictures folder is selected, but the user can add an unlimited number of photo folders into the program.

The user can choose to have all his photos displayed from a current folder, or he can select a specific number of pictures to be included in the slideshow. For making it easier to select the desired pictures, the program includes a slider, for making thumbnails bigger or smaller. The software is compatible with a wide range of image formats, like JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF.

The slideshow can be viewed in an automatic mode, allowing the program to navigate from a picture to another without the user's intervention, or manually. The program features various modes of displaying pictures in the slideshow, as a collage, scattered or a picture at a time.
